Here Are The Most Dangerous Cities To Live In Nigeria

Everyone living in different cities in Nigeria definitely have a thing or two to complain about their city, it's either they are complaining about traffic, infrastructures, roads, energy, commercial establishments, high crime rate, pollutions and so on. In a major city like Lagos, everyone living in the urban and rural areas have one particular complain, which is traffic (this is as a result of limited road network and so many people in the city), while some people living in the same Lagos, Have their major complain to be poor drainage system (which lead to flooded areas during the rainy season) and power failure. But to me, that doesn’t really make Lagos the worst place to live in, what scared me about Lagos was it's crime rate which increased in the last 5 years but now it's reduced, and there's a consoling factor for people living in Lagos, which is "opportunities".
I have traveled to over 13 states in Nigeria and lived in over 10 cities and with all I’ve seen in my little travel adventure I can boldly say Lagos, Enugu, Calabar, and some parts of Abuja are livable. But the cities I would never advice any to live in is Port-Harcourt, Umuahia, Yenagoa.
It’s painful when a city has almost all that is listed above, starting with Umuahia, because in the real sense, you’d get to Umuahia before port-Harcourt. Umuahia is one state that I’ll not advise anyone to live in, though you can run your business there but living there is something that’s not too much of a good idea. In umuahia can boldly say there are just 6 production companies, which I’m sure by now some of them, would have been locked down.
Umuahia the capital city of Abia State in southeastern Nigeria, is a city with very little commercial establishments, poor roads, low infrastructure, and high crime rate in some of the aba area, even with the fact that they produce locally made product, they still have a long way to go.
In Aba the prevalent crimes in the city are stealing, kidnapping, murder, robbery, assault, occasional harm, grievous harm and burglary. I remember living in Amaoba part of umuahia, a village not too far from akwa ibom, and the first day I made a short trip to akwa ibom without taking away my valuable from the house I rented, I was burgled, then the neighbors told me that it’s no longer news when someone gets burgled. That aside, Umuahia has limited infrastructures; it wasn’t until 2017 when the government installed its first shopping mall. Secondly the roads in the city are nothing to write home about, that’s why everywhere in the city looks like shit when it’s rainy season.
Port-Harcourt on the other hand, is the worst city I’ll ever advise even my enemy to live in, over there People get robbed in front of police and nothing happens, which baffles me. The other day I was in port-harcourt I went to port-harcourt zoo with a couple of friends in the city, while in the zoo, we tried to go see the lion’s den, and when we got there, looking at the den, about 3 guys came towards our stand and requested for our phones in broad-daylight, when my friend tried to prove stubborn they shot into the air, and we succumbed to them, immediately they ran out we ran after them, screaming thief! And we met with the security guard in-charge of the zoo, he pretend like he was going to get them, only for him to come back saying them don run go far, don’t worry, them go come again. But that’s not my only reason for saying port-harcourt is the worst place to live in; In Port-harcourt every living thing has a taste for blood and Violence. The crime rate in port-Harcourt is increasingly alarming. The rate of cultist is at it's peak in port harcourt.
