This Post Explains The Current Stupidity Among Some Nigerian Girls Of Today

So.. Today I’m ‘mad’ and I will be talking of a very sensitive issue. What’s up with some of these feminists in Africa? Are you ‘mad’ ni? I’ve come to conclude that all these feminists BS won’t work in Africa not because it’s a man’s world but because of how clueless the people or women fighting for it are.
READ MY RANT BELOW ;
I was scrolling through Twitter this morning and I came across a tweet that said “just because a woman doesn’t know how to cook doesn’t mean she isn’t a good wife”.
I saw some point in that and I was like she could learn with time or the husband could assist too but the one that weak me is that the ladies then came on the thread and said “why should the lady be the one to cook? Cooking is what everyone should do, a woman shouldn’t be bothered if she doesn’t know how to cook, you are not a slave to any one. Stay Woke”
Wait.. So now that it has come to cooking, it is now what everyone should do.. But when it comes to providing for the family, it is the work of the man, when it comes to paying bride price, it is the duty of the man, when it comes to paying for children fees, it is the duty of the man.
We are not saying a woman should be the only one to cook but if a woman cannot cook and she shouldn’t be bothered about it but she is still a good wife then we are equally saying “A man that cannot provide for his family and doesn’t bother about it, is still a responsible man”, who are you deceiving?
When we the men accept our roles, we pay bride price, we provide for the family, we sacrifice our fun time to keep our wives and children happy then it comes to the ladies and cooking for your husband when he comes back from work or at least learning how to cook for him becomes a sin, it becomes “enslavement of women”, you should kuku say we should breast feed the baby and carry the pregnancy for you too.
If we want to make everything general then let us start from the bride price, I pay bride price to your parents and you pay groom price to my parents, I bring my salary and we divide into 2 and you bring yours and we divide it into 2.
Since we want to be unfortunate and speak like mad people.
(I’m not saying that we shouldn’t assist each other but neglecting your role in the family and you come to say you are a feminist near me.. I will… Let me not talk)

You put a lot of energy into being healthy. It’s a top priority for you. But are you giving your hair this same attention? Regardless of its length and density, your hair might not be as healthy as it can be. Healthy strands stay thicker, fall out less, and can grow longer (if that’s your aim) than weak ones. This is more than a shampoo-rinse-repeat strategy: Healthy hair comes from the decisions you make at the dinner table, what you wear while you sweat, the amount of natural oils on your scalp, and the products you put (or don’t put) in your hair. Every day, your habits and choices are affecting the health of your hair, all the way down to the follicle. To ensure that you grow the strongest, healthiest hair possible, we asked New York City-based dermatologist Janet Prystowsky, M.D., for her expertise on the topic. These tips will help strengthen your hair and, in theory, preserve their place longer. You’ll find that the hair is more controllable while styling, each strand looks thicker and is less prone to falling out, and as an added bonus—you get to live a much healthier life, too. Pay Attention to Your Scalp We tend to think of oily hair as a bad thing. Sure, it makes you look a bit unkempt, but ultimately, the fact that your scalp is producing the oil—called sebum—is a good thing. “Sebum is good for our hair in general,” says Dr. Prystowsky. “It’s what keeps our scalp and hair cuticles soft and hydrated.” She adds, however, that excessive sebum production makes you more prone to scalp infections, thick scales, and yeast infections, all of which can make your hair fall out. But don’t worry just yet: When it gets too greasy, just shampoo it. If it isn’t too greasy yet, then a simple rinse will preserve these natural oils without drying out the scalp. Save the shampoo for when it’s most needed—every second or third day. We like V76 by Vaughn’s Hydrating Shampoo since it washes away grime without neutralizing any moisture.) Dr. Prystowsky also says that if your scalp is asymptomatic, as in, exhibiting no flakiness, itching, or pain, then you’re probably in the clear as far as scalp health goes. However, if any of those symptoms exist and persist, they will compromise hair quality. At the first sign of flakes, try a dandruff shampoo to remedy the matter. If that doesn’t help, you might be suffering from something more severe like scalp psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, overly dry skin, or another condition. Regardless, this is when you should visit your dermatologist. Wear It Loose While You Sweat You’re an active guy, and while your healthy lifestyle benefits your entire body—hair included—by increasing circulation and nutrient absorption, it might also be compromising hair health in other ways. “Helmet sports, like biking, can cause friction alopecia, where the helmet rubs against the scalp,” Dr. Prystowsky says. This is when hair falls out because it rubs against something, but luckily, it isn’t permanent. If you have long hair and pull it back tight, this also can cause what’s called traction alopecia, which occurs from excessive pulling or strain. Dr. Prystowsky says that unlike friction alopecia, traction alopecia can be permanent. All this sweat can settle in your scalp, too, so be sure to shampoo immediately after an intense workout, to avoid dandruff, drying, and other such conditions. Essentially, anything that might lead to inflammation of the scalp can adversely affect hair growth, Dr. Prystowsky says. This includes sunburn and allergic reactions. So make sure to wear a hat, apply hair-friendly SPF, like Bosley’s Scalp Protector SPF 20, and keep your hair somewhat loose when you can. Focus on Food, Not Supplements As for what you eat, Dr. Prystowsky says to skip the supplements and instead take a logical approach to your diet. "The truth is that a balanced diet with healthy amounts of vegetables, proteins, and fruits is all you need,” she says. She calls this prescription “a wide, colorful diet”, which should itself supplement the body with the nutrients necessary for healthy hair growth. “It’s hard to be deficient in the nutrients necessary for healthy hair,” she adds. “There’s no reason to think that an overabundance will make a difference.” However, Dr. Prystowsky notes that vegetarians and vegans should be proactive about protein intake to offset a lack of meat, since proteins are essential to thicker-looking and stronger hair. Dial Back on Products That Can Dry Out Your Hair We’ve already talked about the importance of shampooing less: Only do it when your hair and scalp are greasy. It’s not necessary to wash your hair every day, since shampoo can dry out and strip the hair of its healthy natural oils. A simple rinse will suffice between when you shampoo at least two to three times a week. However, you still should condition your hair around three to four times a week, depending on your hair length, but never with a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. The conditioner should either stand on its own, or it should follow a wash. It should never precede shampoo or be mixed with it. Its job is to restore the nutrients and moisture lost from the shampoo, and to generally nourish the hair. When mixed with shampoo, it doesn’t have a chance to properly do its job. We recommend American Crew Moisturizing Shampoo and Jack Black Hair And Scalp Conditioner. Report a problem default 125 dislike dislike

Nothing will stop me from marrying him-Mother of 9 who left family for Gambian toyboy

A mother-of-nine who left her children and husband of 23 years for a toyboy 12 years her junior has said he is determined to marry him.
Heidi Hepworth, 44, left husband Andy for 30-year-old Mamadou Jallow from Gambia after a 'mid-life crisis'.
Mrs Hepworth had never been abroad before, but abandoned her nine children to fly out to be with him in the Gambian capital, Banjul.
Mr Hepworth, also 44, who says the ordeal has been difficult for their children, as young as six, is convinced his wife's lover has brainwashed her.
He said:
'A caring mum wouldn't go off gallivanting around Africa with her new boyfriend. The person she has become is horrible. She was a loving, caring mum.'
But Mrs Hepworth defended her actions, telling The Sun:
'I don't have a single regret. I'm not a terrible parent.
'It was really hard for me to leave my kids, but they couldn't come with me so I had no choice.
'We are in love and nothing will stop me from marrying him. If other people don't like that they will just have to lump it.'
The couple have six children together and Mr Hepworth has raised the three children she had from a previous marriage as his own.

How to make the cornrows hairstyle? 10 simple braiding steps

Looking for a trendy, yet comfortable hairstyle? If you know the basics of braiding, you will be able to make a traditional African and coastal Caribbean hairstyle - cornrow braids. This fashionable braids style has already been a Hollywood trend for a couple of seasons. Continue reading to find lots of inspirational examples.
How to make the cornrows hairstyle? 10 simple braiding steps
A stylish and simple cornrow hairstyle for everyone
Cornrows hairstyle is not only comfortable, it's a real time-saver. Once made, you will be able to wear it for as long as you wish. And if you are already eager to try, but have no idea from where to start - continue reading and find out all ten braiding steps. In the end of the article check out a useful Youtube video from a popular blogger Shameless Maya. She will be showing how to braid cornrows if you have short hair, but would like to have long braids.
Now, step-by-step guide about how to make cornrow hairstyles. Ten easy detailed steps right now.
Step 1. Prepare your hair and instruments for the braiding process
Figure out what kind of braids style you would like to have in the end. There are many kinds of cornrow hairstyles - from standard thick cornrows and tiny cornrows to swirling and twisted braids. You can find the needed picture in the Internet, draw it by yourself or simply, imagine and keep it in your head.
Step 2. Wet the divided hair
Spray some water on the hair until it is well soaked, but not fully wet. Why should you wet your hair? You sure don't want to drag your hair too much and create double tension. Besides, the hairstyle will look too sleek. You can also add special hair products into the water, to make your braids even better. Now you will have to carefully comb your hair into special sections with the help of an ordinary comb. Their number depends on the chosen hairstyle.

Design cornrows with style mixing
Step 3. Comb your hair and divide it in equal sections.
Begin with the front part of your head, the exact place where your hairstyle will begin. The rest of your hair has to be tied into tails, so that it won't disturb you during the braiding process. Remember not to take too much hair, or you will have to drag it too hard. Humidify your hair from the beginning with a special hair cream and continue to humidify it during the cornrow process.
Step 4. Cornrow styles process.
Take your first section and divide it again into three thin strands. Then, place the right strand in the middle, left strand in the middle, right strand in the middle again and right strand in the middle. Begin the cornrow process. Secure the two external strands aside, and reach down your first braid to add some more hair. Continue braiding with the additional hair until it becomes a full-fledged part. Now you have another three thin strands. Continue to braid the cornrow styles constantly adding a bit of additional hair. Secure the braid with whatever hair accessory. Now you can begin braiding again.
Step 5. Finish your hairstyle.
After finishing your first braid, you are free to begin to style the rest of your hair. Simply, follow the instruction listed above and in the end you will have your trendy cornrow hairstyles. If you have no hair accessories to secure the ends of your braids there is one little secret. Take an ordinary deep pan and boil some fresh water. As soon as the water boils, carefully place all your braids inside the pan and hold them there for half a minute. Thanks to this, the tips will look well-groomed and the braids will stick together.
If there are still questions about the cornrow braiding process, you can watch this video tutorial from a famous Youtube blogger Shameless Maya.
Now that you have the needed information about the braiding style, your everyday look will always be trendy. And thanks to cornrows convenience you won't have to worry about styling your hair every morning. Wear cornrows styles for as long as you wish, as it is suitable to any style - from official to cocktail and romantic. Decorate your hairstyle with different accessories to look even better. 15 Things Guys Should Never Ever Say To Women

So, we’ve decided to jump straight in there with perhaps the most unforgivable and not to mention mean thing a guy can say to a girl. Talking about a woman’s weight in any way won’t ever be well-received.

YOU’RE 100% WRONG

No one ever likes to be told they are wrong, especially not us ladies. Guys, here’s a little tip, us girls prefer a good old-fashioned debate rather than being told we are outright wrong about something.
Succeed in love!

YOU TALK TOO MUCH

Telling a woman she talks too much is playing into one of the ultimate stereotypes, which by the way most of us don’t appreciate!

YOU CAN’T DO THAT…YOU’RE A GIRL

Outright sexism is something us woman just won’t accept in any way, shape or form. Women can do absolutely anything they set their minds to and are equally as brilliant as guys.

I DON’T LIKE YOUR HAIR

Never ever insult a woman’s hair! Negative opinions on how a woman looks will never get a laugh out of us, you can mark ourwords on that one.

YOU’D BE PRETTIER IF YOU SMILED MORE

To a woman, this basically translates into you don’t look very pretty and you look completely miserable. Guys, a little heads-up, don’t ever say this to a woman.

HOW OLD ARE YOU?!

Asking a woman her age will never go down well in any circumstance and trust us, you won’t want to see what happens when a women gets offended.

SO….HOW MANY PREVIOUS PARTNERS HAVE YOU HAD?

This conversation will almost definitely come up at one point or another, but guys, let the topic come about naturally and don’t force the answer out of a woman because she won’t appreciate it.

HOW MUCH DO YOU EARN?

The same thing goes for asking a woman how much she earns, if she wants to tell you, she will when she’s ready. Your prying is likely to make her feel uncomfortable so let her take her time.

CALM DOWN

Women know how to manage their anger and don’t need to be told by anyone to calm down, it will only make them madder.

YOU LOOK TIRED

Telling a woman she looks tired is basically like telling her she doesn’t look her best and no one out there wants to hear that.

YOU’RE TOO SENSITIVE

For a woman, hearing she is too sensitive pretty much has the same effect on her as hearing she is weak

I DON’T LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIENDS

Having a group of amazing girlfriends that are there to support you is one of the best feelings in the world. Women typically have really tight knit friendships and insulting their friends would be massively overstepping the line.

YOUR FAMILY ARE BORING

Many of us girls are really close with our families and would do anything for them. Women have really impressivefamily values and couldn’t deal with hearing that someone doesn’t appreciate their family as much as they do

YOU’RE OVERREACTING

The word ‘overreacting’ could trigger a huge meltdown, so guys try to avoid using it at all costs. After all, who is anyone to judge if a woman is actually overreacting?

Man Born With No Thighs Finds Love With Woman A Foot Taller Than Him

Man Born With No Thighs Finds Love With Woman A Foot Taller Than Him
Nathan Hrdlicka is one of 25 people in the world with bilateral PFFD, a condition that caused him to be born without thighs. Nathan’s knee bones are directly connected to his hip bones.
Of the 25 people with the rare condition, Nathan appears to be the only one who can walk. Despite the unique hurdles, he has lived a full life.
He is in a loving relationship with his girlfriend, Chelsee Stuart. Chelsee is about a foot taller than Nathan. Ironically, doctors said that Nathan would have grown to be 6’4 if he’d had his thighs.
“When we first met, I did think the height difference was going to be a sort of problem because this was my first time really being with someone that shorter than me,” Chelsea said. “It took us a lot of time to really learn what works and what doesn’t work, but eventually now everything works.”
Nathan finds that Chelsee is emotionally supportive.
“Chelsee supports me emotionally as a friend in a way that I never had in my life,” she said. “When I am sick she is there making sure there is everything she can do to make me feel better, whether it is just to put a smile on my face or a glass of cold water.”
People often judge Nathan’s height and his relationship with Chelsee, who is much taller.
“I just really want to be able to help people. I want to be able to use my experiences and story to help people get through the hard times that they are having so that they can heal,” he said.

Renowned Nollywood Actress Reveals Exactly What Crashed Tonto Dikeh’s Marriage

2017

Blessing Anyim & Tonto Dikeh
US-based Nigerian actress, Blessing Anyim has reacted to controversies around Tonto Dikeh’s failed marriage.
In a recent Instagram post on her page @itsablessingg, the popular actress blamed women for Dikeh’s failed marriage, according to a report in Vanguard Newspaper..
According to her, the same women that pressured Dikeh to get into marriage are the ones calling her a drama queen following the failed marriage.
Her words; “Divorce rate is high nowadays and I feel that’s because of the pressure put on women by women who are married to others who aren’t.
They make them feel inadequate just because they aren’t married and that causes them to go and marry the man they are not supposed to even be with.
“And one can relate this to Tonto Dikeh’s case. Back in the days when women say ‘Oh! She’s not married, she needs to get married and settle
And now she’s done that and out to say the truth about her marriage… it’s this same women who pressured her into get married that are now the ones calling her a drama queen.
“I feel that only when we start to understand that marriage is not the end of the world, that’s when marriages are going to stick. And women are women’s problems.”

New details emerge on how Wole Soyinka's 20 year old son got married to his 30 year old lover

To many of the family members, it’s surprising that the wedding photos have just appeared in the media in November.
The couple got married in June 2017 in Atlanta Georgia, the United States of America!
Oretunlewa, son of Nobel laureate winner, Wole Soyinka got married to his Igbo lover of eight years, former Miss Nneka Ekechukwu.

Nneka, 30, a businesswoman based in the US, was said to have sponsored the lavish wedding which was attended by friends and families.
But the groom’s father, Prof Wole Soyinka was said to have kicked against the union.

He was prevailed upon and as a good father he had to appear at the wedding.
Oretunlewa, who is one of the three children (all boys) of Mrs. Folake Soyinka, is believed by his dad to be too young to be a husband.

Professor Soyinka got married to Folake in 1989. How did Folake meet the Nobel Laureate?
In an interview she had with The News Magazine sometimes ago, Folake revealed that it was at the University of Ife. Of course, she knew he liked her, but the snag was that she was still young and he was so accomplished.
She said: “After I left Ife and went to do my NYSC in Kaduna state, Dr Biodunjeyifo came to visit me and said Kongi (Prof Wole Soyinka) had been looking for me. After the service year, Dr Yomi Ogunbiyi who was at the Guardian got me a job there and one day, Wole stopped by.”

It was an interesting courtship.
Explaining that her parents and most of her relatives objected to her relationship with the professor, she still had her siblings’ support.
“There were objections from everywhere. My parents worried that he was too famous and too accomplished. But within a few months after we were married, my parents had changed their mind and they loved him until they passed away. His close friends didn’t have a problem with it but also everyone had an opinion. Then came the Nobel Prize in 1986 and that derailed everything for a couple of years. More than a quarter of a century later, those opinions didn’t count, we are still trudging along. I have enjoyed love because of him,” she said.

Soldiers, corps members clash at Kano NYSC camp

Dec 3, 2017 5:31 AM
THERE was confusion at the National Youth Service orientation camp in Karaye, Kano State, on Friday  night, following a clash between a corps member and the camp commandant over alleged treatment of corps members by the officer and his men.
This is just as the state governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, assured  2,282 corps members posted to the state not to entertain any fear, but  feel at home, saying all necessary measures have been taken to ensure safety of their lives and property.
A source who prefered anonymity alleged that the corps members on camp were fed up with the excessive punishments from the commandant and his soldiers and decided to stage a mini protest, shouting “we no go gree. We are graduates”
According to the source, the commandant walked reportedly up to one of the corps members who shouted “we no go gree” and punched him. But the corps member retaliated by punching the commandant who fell to the ground which caused his men to rush to his aid.
However, the protest from the corps members intensified with demands that the commandant be decamped.
In a swift reaction, the state NYSC Coordinator, Ladan Baba, restored order to the camp but however granted the demands of corps members and approved the decamping of the camp commandant.
When contacted, the NYSC coordinator confirmed the clash, saying that the issue had been resolved amicably and normalcy has returned to the camp.
It is recalled that the state Commissioner of Information, Comrade Muhammad Garba, speaking on behalf of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, while welcoming new set of corps members said, “Let me use this occasion to reiterate that my administration is aware of the challenges that is faced by the NYSC in the state.
“You have all left your homes to travel to another part of the country, where you may not have friends or family. However, I would like you to always remember that wherever you are in this country, you have friends and family, especially in Kano, you are at home.”
‘It is on this note that we give priority to the security of life and property of all and recently embarked on general renovation of the orientation camp which has fully resumed, additional boreholes drilled and payment of local allowances renewed upward’
We shall continue to ensure the smooth and effective execution of the operations relating to the NYSC in Kano State.

Two members of the Kogi state NYSC die

Two members of the Kogi state NYSC, Ifeanyi Uzumeh and Blessing, have been confirmed dead.

Here’s what another corps member who confirmed their deaths wrote on Facebook;

“This is terribly painful and unbelievable that we lost this guy Apostle Ifeanyi Uzumeh (Biggie slim fit)…IMSU feels d pain, History feels d pain, his PPA at Kogi feels d pain, IYP feels d pain, 2017 Batch A stream 1 feels d pain, Imo state feels d pain , Okigwe feels d pain. Very difficult to believe from my side…

But the funny aspect of this so called NYSC scheme is that Nigeria have no stipulated wherewithal of sympathising with a bereaved family who lost a love one in this service…

  • I would have love to articulate the loop holes of this scheme but my soul is mourning.”
