Cristiano Ronaldo is the winner of the FIFA best player award for this year, the second time in two years.
He was announced just before 9pm at the ceremony in London by Legends Diego Maradona and namesake Brazilian Ronaldo.

FIFA have announced the official 2017 World XI, but snubbed the likes of Paul Pogba and Luis Suarez for it.

Football's world governing body collaborated with the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro) to get more than 24 000 professional players to vote for their peers.
Real Madrid once again dominates the team after becoming the first side to defend the UEFA Champions League title.
Here is the official FIFA FIFPro World XI:
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus)
Defenders: Dani Alves (Juventus), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Marcelo (Real Madrid)
Midfielders: Andres Iniesta (FC Barcelona), Luka Modric (Real Madrid), Toni Kroos (Real Madrid)
Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona), Neymar (FC Barcelona & PSG)
Note: The selection is based on performances in the 2016/17 season.
