Heart Attack is a medical condition that requires urgent medical attention . It's other name is myocardial infarction . Here, the heart stops working as a result of blockage of the blood supply to the heart muscles . It is the heart that supplies blood to the whole body including the brain , kidney , liver , muscles , so once the heart stop functioning , the various organs will not get blood and will subsequently die from starvation . So therefore, maintaining a healthy heart while you are young is very important to avoid heart Attack , Strokes and many other disease associated with eating this foods that are associated with Heart attacks .
The foods in question are common food that are part of our daily meal , avoiding this foods might not be easy but a healthier life is better than eating anyhow and dieing young and be calling your village people as the cause .
The foods that are associated with Heart Attacks include Red meat , Cheese , Butter , Palm and coconut oil . These foods in general has high quantity of bad fats ( saturated fat) . Medically speaking , they have high quantity of Cholesterol , Low density lipoprotein ( LDL) and very low quantity of the good fat , High density lipoprotein . The bad fats in this Food are deposited in the blood vessels , so continuous eating of this foods will subsequently narrow the lumen of the vessel and finally it will be blocked . However , this can affect other blood vessels in the body but it affects the blood vessels supplying blood to the heart more .
However , Red meat , good example is cow meat that we consume everyday does not only cause heart Attack by fat deposition , but it has a substance called carnithine that further enhance the blockage of the blood vessels .
Cheese , apart from causing heart Attack , it has been associated with sudden death in those taking some drugs alongside with it . So therefore , always ask your doctor , if taking the medication you are placed on is safe with eating cheese .
Other things that can be done to prevent future heart Attack include exercise , limit alcohol consumption ( low quantity is good for the heart) , Always visit hospital for any chest pain especially on the left side .
