COOL : I'm not asking you to get into refrigerator or so, but stay cool, mann. Why worry over any thing. Girls really like guys who keep it simple,yet cool.
RESPECTFUL : To be honest girls doesn't demand respect for themselves, they want guys to respect everyone. Even if the person is a beggar. Respect is respect. Respect everything around, and you've won it all.
CARING : You need not follow her like mad man,please. Just be a genuine person who is concerned about her. Makes it all happen well.
JUST THE WAY HE IS : This indeed is most important. No girl want you to be guy she can trust. It can be possible that some other guy looks nice doing stuff out of your range. That's okay ! 1. Good-looking: Come on girls, there is a benchmark that below some standard you wouldn't want to accept. Sorry guys, just because of some bad genes you couldn't touch those standards.
2. Interesting: Guys should always be interesting. Otherwise, you will be rejected in the introduction phase, scolded & breakup in growth phase but, will not be affected in maturity phase. (Relationship Life Cycle).
3. Rest all are similar to other answers. Honesty, Cool (:p), Loyal, Humor, Intelligent, What & What Not.

Trust me,
You can still be OR try to be all of the things that are mentioned here in the answers and still you won't find the ONE.
You have to be yourself in this world. If according to the "experts" you need to change your personality to make someone fall in love with you, then they're wrong.
You're you. Sure you can deceive your loved ones for some time, but will they love you after they come to know that it was all just a ploy to "get" them ?
If even they forgive you for that, imagine the amount of work you're asking them to put in to the relationship because of your "pretending" to be the right guy/girl.

Initially a girl may get impressed by a tall, handsome, charming guy who makes her laugh.
But she would love only
1)The one who would respect her.. Her individuality. Accept her as she is, than force her to change for you
2) Who cares about her and would always give her a shoulder to cry on when she is down
3) Who shares or respects her passions and supports her in the same
4) The one who is faithful and trustworthy
5) the one who is confident and has a goal about his life
6) the one who is not selfish, but is empathetic and emotionally mature

1. Girls like the guy who doesn't involve much in their privacy. You have to give space for them.
2. The guy should be able to give support and understand her in all her ups and downs.
