You are in a relationship with an absolutely delightful guy; he is too good to be true. You have gone on awesome mind-blowing dates together, allowed him unrestricted access to your body and you feel it cannot get better. Just one small problem – he has not clearly stated where it is headed or what you are.
Ladies, you need to have “the talk” and define your relationship; I cannot stress it enough! Be clear and upfront about your expectations in the relationship, you do have a say! If you want more than he is ready to give, don’t be ashamed to walk away. If you do not, he will tie you down and take you on a ride to nowhere. Please, shift the mushy-mushy feelings to the back of your heart and expressly ask him his intentions towards you or where the relationship is headed.
Why are we so down with just having fun in relationships? When you are just having fun, it is akin to a relationship-padlock-limbo where there is only stagnancy. Keeping it fun and casual can work for so long before it gets boring. More importantly, you could miss out on somebody out there that would have been perfect for you.
You need to let your partner know that you will not be around forever unless you have a solid commitment from them. Basically, you can only be friends if they need time to figure out what you both are. If they are not there, please accept their decision and do not force them. The best you can do is let them know you are willing to move on to someone else that is ready for commitment.
